Cacao Easter Nests

Looking for an easy Easter treat the whole family will love? These no-bake chocolate nests are a fun, kid-friendly activity and a delicious twist on the classic. Made with crunchy puffed grains and antioxidant-rich Juice Plus Cacao Rocks, they’re perfect for school holidays, family gatherings, and Easter dessert tables. Bonus: no oven required, and they’re refined sugar-free!

No-Bake | Kid-Friendly 

 

Ingredients    

+ 100g butter, dairy-free alternative, or coconut oil 
+ 200g high-quality dark chocolate, broken into chunks
+ 200g cornflakes, puffed rice, puffed quinoa or bran flakes
+ 6 tbsp maple syrup
+ 50g Juice Plus Cacao Rocks, roughly chopped

  

Directions  

  1. Melt the Base: In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter (or coconut oil) and dark chocolate together, stirring gently until smooth.
  2. Add Syrup & Cacao: Stir in the maple syrup and chopped Cacao Rocks. Mix until everything is melted and glossy.
  3. Mix in the Crunch: Remove from heat and fold in your cereal of choice until evenly coated.
  4. Shape the Nests: Spoon the mixture into cupcake cases, pressing a little dip in the centre of each to form a nest.
  5. Chill & Decorate: Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm. Add mini eggs or berries just before serving.
