Reindeer Cookies

These adorable Reindeer Cookies are the perfect festive treat to enjoy this season! Not only are they fun to make and decorate, but they’re also packed with nutritious ingredients, making them a deliciously healthy holiday snack. Perfect for baking with kids, these cookies bring holiday cheer to any gathering.

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

+ 1 cup (130g) wheat flour
4 scoops/sachets Juice Plus+ Chocolate Complete 
1/2 tsp baking powder
125g dairy-free butter (room temperature)
1 tbsp honey or rice malt syrup
2 eggs (or egg replacer)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp gingerbread spice mix
125g icing sugar
1.5 tbsp lemon juice
Brown and red food colouring for decorating   

 

  

Directions  

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. In a bowl, whip the butter until fluffy, then add honey and eggs.
  3. Gently stir in the vanilla, baking powder, cinnamon, and gingerbread spice mix.
  4. Add the flour and Chocolate Complete, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
  5. Cover the dough in cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface, then use a reindeer-shaped cutter to cut the cookies and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 5 minutes, then let the cookies cool completely.
  8. In the meantime, mix the icing sugar and lemon juice.
  9. Divide the icing into 3 bowls and add brown and red food colouring as desired.
  10. Decorate your reindeer cookies and enjoy this festive treat!
